Karen Chan brings over 15 years of experience in software development, systems integration and technology management to Storage Appliance Corporation. During the years, Karen has held various technology consultant positions at high profile companies such as Toronto Hydro, Telus Mobility, Sprint Canada, CIBC, Consumer Gas ( now Enbridge ), Xerox, L.V. Lomas and various Ontario Government ministries. Karen is currently overseeing projects related to all new and existing products within Storage Appliance Corporation.

Prior to joining Storage Appliance Corporation, Karen was the Director of Engineering for the Toronto Development Center for Bitfone Corporation, where she was responsible for key architectural decisions, product roadmap as well as management of the Client and Server development teams. Karen also plays an instrumental role in collaborating between Bitfone's global development centers in California and Beijing.

Before joining Bitfone, Karen served as Senior Solutions Architect at Mobile Diagnostix Inc., where she was responsible for the implementation, architecture and integration of SmartCare, a customer care and remote diagnostics tool for mobile service providers. Mobile Diagnostix was successfully acquired by Bitfone Corporation in 2004.

Karen earned her B.A.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
