Gary Connell provides advanced marketing, strategic planning and business development for Storage Appliance Corporation. He has spent 25 years in business to consumer markets representing 9 years in retail marketing and 16 years in the consumer and wireless technology sectors. Gary has forged numerous industry partnerships and alliances, and has extensive experience in the development of new products and markets.

Prior to joining Storage Appliance Corporation, Gary served as Vice President, Commercial division with Sharp Electronics where he launched Sharp into the Digital Signage market, as well, introduced the award winning Plasmacluster Air Purification technology into Canada. Also while at Sharp, Gary managed to Consumer Division where he launched the now industry leading Aquos line of LCD TV.

Prior to joining Sharp, Gary was the General Manager of Sony Ericsson Canada. Gary joined the Sony and Ericsson joint venture company after having served as Vice President, Consumer Division with Ericsson Canada.

Earlier Gary was Vice President, Communication Group with Sanyo Electric. While at Sanyo Gary spearheaded a joint marketing agreement with Nortel whereby Sanyo would manufacture and market Nortel branded retail products.

Gary is a past Chairman, Communication Research Group with Electronic Manufacturing Association of Canada.
