Inspired by the need for easy-to-use storage solutions, Storage Appliance Corporation was formed in early 2005 to build a truly consumer-friendly storage product. Our products combine the ultimate in ease-of-use with the latest in storage technologies, providing our customers with peace-of-mind for their digital information.
As a testament to the strength and uniqueness of our solution, we have filed multiple patents around our storage solution. We will continue to aggressively add new features and technologies to our products to maintain our technical leadership.
Storage Appliance Corporation was founded by Ian Collins, an experienced, successful entrepreneur. Ian has spent the last 13 years founding/co-founding technology ventures. Mobile Diagnostix Inc, Ian’s most recent venture, provided customer care solutions for mobile phone operators. Mobile Diagnostix Inc. was acquired by California-based BitFone Inc. in 2004. In addition, Ian co-founded Wysdom Inc., a mobile Internet solutions provider, Web2Mobile, a mobile content portal, and Wyrex Communications Inc., an engineering consulting firm focused on second-generation mobile network deployments.
The Storage Appliance team consists of computer industry veterans with proven track records in product development and long histories of success. Our areas of expertise range from hardware and software development to marketing and retail channel management.
